We usually Blade 10-12 miles in the summer and 12-20 miles in the cooler months. We meet at
8:00am and roll out at
8:30. Brunch Afterwards

July-06-08 @ 8:30AM Lake Seminole Park;
We meet at the entrance to the 2 mile oval trail at the back of the
park opposite of the ball park. A beautiful and shady 2 mile
smoothly paved oval trail. Those that only want to do 4-6 miles in
the shade can stay and do the oval trail. Those that want to do
10-15 miles can continue on and do the Osceola High School route and
get an extra good workout. Directions to Lake Seminole: The entrance
to Lake Seminole Park is located off Park Blvd. and about 100th St.
Between Seminole Blvd and Starky Rd. Plenty of parking and restrooms
July-13-08 @ 8:30AM Main Street in Dunedin;
Meet in the parking lot on the SW corner of Main St. & the Trail.
Main Street is Hwy 580 and runs along the North side of Countryside
Mall on Hwy 19. Go West on Main Street from Hwy 19 until you come to
the Trail. Go East on Main Street from Alt 19 to the Trail. Be
careful not to confuse Alt 19 and Hwy 19.
July-20-08 @ 8:30AM Straub Park Downtown
St. Pete; Meet at the street parking at Straub Park in
downtown St. Pete. Straub Park is located on Beach Drive and about
4th Ave. North. Coming from the North, take Exit 23B (old Exit 11)
off I 275. Coming from the South, take Exit 23A (old Exit 10) off I
275. Both exits run into Beach Drive at 5th Ave N.
July-27-08 @ 8:30AM Wall Springs;
Wall Springs Park is a brand new (but small) park in north Pinellas
County. It has plenty of parking and restrooms and is adjacent to
the Pinellas Trail. Directions: Wall Springs Park is at Brevard St.
and the Pinellas Trail. At the corner of Brevard St. and Alt 19
(Paradise Nursery on NE corner) go West about 1 block. Brevard St.
is located South of Klosterman Rd, just south of the trail's tunnel
under Alt 19 and North of Alderman Rd.
Aug-03-08 @ 8:30AM Upper Tampa Bay Trail;
We will meet at the trail head on Waters Ave just West of Sheldon
Road. Two ways to go to the Upper Tampa Bay Trail.
49th St. way:
Take 49th St to McMullenBooth Road north to 580. Turn east. This
turns into Tampa Road which turns into Hillsborough Blvd. Take this
to Country Way (there is a Walgreens on the corner) turn north into
the Country Way subdivision. Take this north to the first stop sign,
which is Waters, turn right or east. Go about 1 mile and the
entrance to the trail is on the left (north) just across from the
YMCA.
I 275 way:
I-275 towards airport, stay left heading for "cargo" area, PASS #60
Clearwater and take next gradual left onto Independence (Exit 2B).
Follow Independence -it melds into Memorial which becomes Sheldon as
it crosses Hillsborough. Stay on Sheldon and at Waters make a left.
1st right is into the park at the Trail.
We recommend finding your way on a map before going and taking the
map with you.
Aug-10-08 @ 8:30AM City Seminole Park;
We meet in the Park. From Park Blvd. turn South on 113th St. Go West
at the water tower on 74th Ave. to the entrance of the City of
Seminole Park. Drive to the back by the Trail to park.
Aug-17-08 @ 8:30AM Pink Streets/Skyway
Bridge Access Trail; We meet at the picnic parking area
in Maximo Park. Take Exit 16 off I 275 to Pinellas Point Drive. At
Pinellas Point Drive, turn to the West and into Maximo Park. Inside
Maximo Park, at the “y” in the road, go to the left and park in the
picnic area parking. Depending upon the conditions, we will decide
to either skate the Pink Streets or the Skyway Bridge Access Trail.
Both are easily available from Maximo Park.
Aug-24-08 @ 8:30AM Walmart,
Subway Meet at the Subway in the parking lot at the entrance to
Wal-Mart just off of Park Street. Wal-Mart is in a large shopping
complex bordered by 38th Ave., Tyrone Blvd., and Park Street. Take
the 38th Ave Exit off Interstate 275 and go West.
