It’s always good to see archive images cropping up, but one that particularly stood out recently was this image taken in 1966 of Aveling & Porter 10392 standing in Wyndham Park, Grantham where she was a landmark for around 41 years before being removed due to Health & Safety concerns.
This particular engine is nearing the end of a long restoration and will no doubt feature further on this page as we and it moves forward - but for now please enjoy this lovely image.
